Lucretia Sage
OOC Name: Ani
Face Claim: Darya Dogusheva
General Information
Race: Human
Magic: Mage In Training
Age: 27
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 103 lbs
Caste: Middle Class
Occupation: Apprentice
Physical Description: Doe-eyed, Lucretia possesses the ability to put on an innocent front, despite being anything but. A fluttering of her long, curled lashes partnered with a modest smile has been known to have the power to sway arguments her way. Her pale skin is a testament to how much time she spends in the sun, although she is particularly sunkissed across the bridge of her nose and onto her cheeks, freckles clustered among the blush pink and milky white tones. Her height only plays more into her façade of innocence, as does her lithe frame.
Personality Description: Promiscuous and rowdy, it’s surprising she hasn’t ended up caught and with numbers yet on her forearm. With a loose mouth and even looser morals, she’s always narrowly avoiding trouble by putting on a front. Utilizing her strengths to downplay her weaknesses, Lucretia is both self-aware and smart. With a sense of family disappearing from her teens on partnered with her goal of self-perseverance, she values her own safety over that of others, and is not one to do things for others unless something is involved for her. A mix of easygoing and serious, her mood will dictate her tone and actions.
History
Although she came from nothing, the blonde woman has amounted to more than ever expected, and achieved greater than even she thought possible. The Left Hand arrived early on in her life, just before her parents’ disappearance in her thirteenth year. Rights and responsibilities for her care were handed over to the group and its leader. Although she never knew what happened to the ones who birthed and cared for her in her earliest years, Lucretia has speculated that her parents either lacked magic themselves or didn’t. Nevertheless, they surely knew what consequences lied in store for having housed an unregistered person of magical capabilities, and handed her over because of such.
It was the story she had settled on after a few years. But what they were were magic folk, too, which is why the Left Hand was so willing to take her in and provide protection to one of their kind as a favor to their kind. Taken in, they were shipped off to work camps, turned in by a friend they suspected lacked loyalty. Not that it mattered. The girl would never know their intentions or their reasonings, nor would she know their situation.
Her training began nearly the day she arrived. Immediately swept under the wing of Arasmus Nyler, her never before touched skills became honed over the years. Even after spending over half of her life with the man, with romance trickling in only recently in a mixture of repayment and genuine interest, Lucretia still has a lot to learn before she’d be able to lose her apprentice title.
The Left Hand not only became a home, but a movement she truly believed in. When forced to pick a side by the world who refused to allow people to be neutral, the choice was not difficult. Even as a teen, she knew she would prefer to be true to what she was than to live a life a lying. With the story she wrote for her origins, Lucretia believed that choosing such was the life her parents wanted for her, the ones they strove to give her.
