Christopher “Kit” von Liechstenstein
OOC Name: Eloell
Face Claim: Chris Ladewig
General Information
Race: Cyborg
Magic?: Non-magic
Age: Seventy-five
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 215lbs (due to his weighty alterations)
Caste: Upper Class
Occupation: Aristocrat
Physical Description: Kit wears many hats and has learned exactly how to dress for each. The consistency between them all is his flowing brown hair, his calculating brown eyes, and his lean but muscled build.
When parading as an aristocrat Kit sits on the forefront of style and finesse. He wears all the latest trends and is even experimental in his endeavors—his teeth are all permanently silver, after all (smile for my daddy—I wanna see your grill). Jewels, pearls, silver and gold, for a man from a rich family like his it is all at his disposal and he never dresses lightly.
When masquerading as a Magician Hunter Kit dresses in black leathers, down to a high-collared trench coat, a wide-brimmed hat, and even a little mask for his eyes.
Personality Description: Kit is an outgoing introvert who prizes personal accomplishments and the destruction of magicians above all else. He has a witty sense of humor and enjoy dipping into sarcasm on a regular basis. His upper class ways have instilled in him a certain kind of constant politeness, though he knows how to deliver a harsh word when the situation deems necessary. He finds ways to laugh off both anger and sorrow, and considers himself to be a level-headed, charming man who has a way with the ladies.
Call him a steampunk Bruce Wayne.
History
The von Liechtenstein family has been faithful to king and country for as long as anyone in the current generation can remember. They have consistently served Khandor through military involvement, political engagement, and technology invention, to name just a few outlets. The family is historically human, though the most recent generation saw to the incorporation of magicians, marring the family’s previously clean blood.
Kit’s parents, Genevieve and Horatio, were among the portion of the family that was particularly displeased with this violation of purity. They estranged themselves following the birth of their fourth child, choosing to be lonely in society rather than taint their childrens’ upbringing with tolerance. While many Khandorians worshiped the magic users as gods, Kit’s parents (and select other von Liechtensteins) held the “religious opinion” that magic was a dark, twisted, demented power borne of evil and only suitable for the wicked. That was how Kit and his twelve siblings were raised.
Kit was the eighth born and second son. His parents went on to have five more children after him, with only one other being male. The age of the children are spread out across a span of fifty years. Horatio was a dedicated military man before he retired to the life of an aristocrat, while Genevieve was a particularly prized artist. Their family was wealthy and ran in the upper class. The kids were given everything they needed for a life of success and spoil. Most of them became artists, inventors, and aristocrats, but Kit and two of his sisters joined the military.
The young human joined at the strapping age of eighteen. He was immediately recognized for his talent with projectile weapons, and proceeded to target train and learn martial arts as his primary forms of conflict engagement. Target practice was not isolated to the use of bow and arrow and throwing knives; Kit used a vast array of ranged tools, specializing in the cross bow and the air soft gun. He had been serving in the military for thirty-seven years when the "war on magic" began.
That night changed Kit’s life. He participated in the reckless slaughter of magic-capable humans—adults and children alike—in the name of Khandor. It didn’t awaken him to the atrocities of men and turn him off to his kingdom; it lit a fire of hate towards magicians that he had previously never known. In fact, at the time his eldest brother was courting a magician woman, and that night he cut her down in cold blood. It was a war, and the magicians put up a valiant—though vain—fight. Kit saw first hand what their demon magic was capable of, and his fear drove him to hatred that sunk into his bones and shook him to the core.
This was a righteous genocide in his eyes. He expected his division to be commanded to kill them—kill them all. Imagine his confusion and disgust when they were told to let those who surrendered go free. He questioned that order for the next three years, and at the end of that time he could no longer sit by. Kit resigned from the military and returned to his home. His father welcomed him with open arms and quickly took to teaching him the ways of an aristocrat, specfically instructing on appearing and speaking in social and public realms.
Kit’s bloodlust and passion to see magicians vanquished could not be silenced. Ten years in, just ten years ago from the present, he took up a new hobby: magician hunting. He used his years in the military to his advantage, evading the public eye while slipping into slums to end the lives that should have been taken all those years ago, and to quell reproduction by chopping down children too. He has always performed this duty in the most precise and calculated ways, never killing too many, always making sure it was done in the darkness of secrecy and without a trace. Despite his careful ways, the military picked up on his scent about five years in. One tense night Kit was almost caught. He put the “hobby” away for a few months, thinking he had reached the end of his hero’s road…but then an idea occurred to him: if he could dispose of the bodies then he could do his work without a trace. Kit immediately stepped foot in the black market in search of a surgeon. He found one, and a few months later he was a cyborg, having replaced both his teeth and GI tract with machines. His family and peers do not know he is a cyborg; they think he is still human and that he replaced his teeth with a fashionable set of metals.
Kit became a cyborg about four years ago. That is also around the time he began researching and determining a way to put his foot into Left Hand. He was successful only about a year ago, and has been let in as a low level recruit with Aristocratic ties. Call him a double agent.
Six months ago Kit was called on by a very important person with a very important mission. He would not have accepted, but he was convinced. His primary mission, beyond playing aristocrat and slaying magicians when he can, is to aid in the rescue of the princess.
Cyborg Stuffs: Kit’s teeth are made of a metal alloy. They look human except they are oddly silver, though it has turned into something of a fashion statement for him. With the flip of a switch on his backmost molar the tips of every single tooth expand and sharpen into a mouth full of incisors.
Kit’s other enhancement is unseen; his esophagus, stomach, small intestines, large intestines, and rectum have all been replaced with a metal that can withstand the digestion of virtually anything, from flesh to garbage to fire. He is, for all intents and purposes, a human trashcan.
