[For Lucretia Sage]
West had just finished a surgery and was all smiles. It had been quite a fascinating one, the upgrade for this particular cyborg was quite complex and the surgery had taken quite a lot of time. In fact, West had been on his feet for the last 9 hours straight. Yet at the end of it he was on an adrenaline high. He stepped out of the surgical suite, his gloves and surgical apron covered in blood and he didn't flinch about it for even a moment. The human body fascinated him and making it work together with technological advances was a challenge he would never have imagined in his early years as a surgeon.
He got washed up and changed out of his work clothes before he headed out onto the streets in the technology district. This was his favorite place to be. The way it was designed was exactly West's style. He preferred it over even the luxury of the palace. Despite his own relative wealth he was happy in the middle class. He didn't need or want something as large as a manor and his own house had unique design elements that he had had put in over the years. Yes, he was happy exactly where he was.
He took a deep breath as he stepped out into the open air, a beautiful pinkish orange glow cast over the buildings from the setting sun. The smile still had not left his face as he began to walk down the street. As he walked he did another of his favorite things, people watching. It was fascinating to watch the way that people interacted with one another or with their surroundings. He walked past shops and eateries, enjoying the sounds of chatter and music coming from a musician playing on the side of the street.
